Support @ Express
Express Mum's Group is an informal, mutual support group for Mums, Grandmas and female carers of children and young people on the autistic spectrum.
The group meets at the Royal Oak, Tolworth 7:30-9:30pm usually on the first Thursday of the month during term time.
In addition there are zoom meetings and a WhatsApp group.

Parent Support@Express is an informal group for all parents and carers of young people on the autistic spectrum whether pre-diagnosis, newly diagnosed or experienced with lots of support of what worked for you to share.
Our parent support group usually meets at the Express offices in Tolworth,
1.00pm - 2.30pm bi-monthly during term time.

Counselling@Express is a low-cost counselling service to parents and carers of children with additional needs.
Counselling offers a safe space to talk through any difficulties & anxieties. A counsellor is trained to listen & support you in a non-judgemental way, creating a safe space for you to express your feelings, whatever they may be. By talking, worries & difficulties can often seem clearer and easier to manage.
The counselling sessions take place at the Express offices in Tolworth by counsellors with knowledge of autism & special needs.

PDA Support Group
Express' PDA Support Group is a group for parents/carers of young people with PDA - Pathological Demand Avoidance. The group is a warm and welcoming place where you can chat and share experiences.
The group currently meet online via zoom 12:30pm-2pm on the third Monday of the month, during term time. We hope to return to face to face meetings very soon.

Career Guidance Service @Express is a free service offered to those on the autistic spectrum who would benefit from some support and guidance around areas such as:

TYA Support at EXPRESS
Express TYA Support are specific sessions of workshops or talks for parents/carers of teenagers, young adults going through transition. The sessions will provide a space where you can share similar experiences dealing with puberty, transition to secondary, college or work.
Our TYA sessions will be at the Express offices in Tolworth, look out for future dates on our newsletter.

DLA & EHCP Support
Express' Disability Living Allowance and Education, Health & Care Plan Support offer is by appointment only. The appointment is to give specific 1:1 support time to help parent/carers through the process. Our volunteers are IPSEA SEND Advisor trained.

ACCREDITED MAKATON COURSES
Express' Accredited Makaton Courses are run by Fouad Abbad an accredited makaton trainer who can be contacted directly at email@example.com or 07835 166 056. Courses offered are Taster, Foundation, Using Makaton with singing, Enhancement and Safeguarding. The courses run from the Express offices and are discounted for parent/carers.
