Express Art Groups
EXPRESS YOURSELF
Express Yourself is an Arts Therapy group which provides a space for children on the autism spectrum to interact and connect with others in a fun, supportive environment. The group aims to meet the specific and unique social and emotional needs of children with autism using creative tools such as drama, puppetry, art, music and storytelling. email arts@expresscic.org.uk for more details. SIBS@EXPRESS
Sibs@Express is a group for children who have a brother or sister with autism to come together, make new friends and have a space to share feelings. email sibs@expresscic.org.uk for more details. Referral Form
EXPRESS GIRLS GROUP
Girls Group is a weekly meet up opportunity for girls on the autism spectrum.
The group is run by one of our therapists, who uses their creative skills and experience of working with young people to create fun, creative and inclusive sessions for the girls who join. email gg@expresscic.org.uk for more details. Referral Form
EXPRESS FRIDAY CLUB
Express Friday Club is a supportive and inclusive group for teens that aims to foster connection, communication and interaction through structured games and creative ways to express ourselves. The club will be for teenagers age 13+. email efc@expresscic.org.uk for more details. Referral Form
DRAMA@EXPRESS
Drama@Express is a drama-based club for children and young people on the autistic spectrum to provide a safe environment to explore feelings and problems through the use of art, music, stories and play but also give time to socialise and develop friendships. Social Skills Group
Social skills group for children with autism in a mainstream school aged 8-12. The group focuses on key areas of social skills (Body Language, The Way We Talk, Conversations and Assertiveness) in a fun and nurturing environment. There are two groups running every Tuesday during term time, 4:00pm-5:00pm and 5:15pm-6:15pm. Contact Tracey Barnes for more details.
