Come along to Express and Meet Sue Robson from RUILS: Bright Futures - SEND Transitions

Bright Futures is a service from Ruils supporting disabled young people aged 16-25 and their families with transitions: social / health / education / work.

Sue will discuss Financial Planning:

We’ll be looking at benefits that might be available to our young people; accessing a child trust fund; making plans to ensure that our young people can benefit from any inheritance the family might be able to leave without making them vulnerable.  Sue is not a financial advisor or a legal advisor so this is based on personal experience of having a disabled young person become a young adult and managing their financial affairs.

Through workshops, an online knowledge base and more hands on support where needed the Bright Futures Service aims to make sure that families and young people have the information they need, know what their options are and to feel confident that they can make the best decisions for their future.
